THE first set of graduates of the CFCC (Certificate in Financial Crime Compliance) have hailed the course as ‘setting a new standard’ in compliance education.
The students also said that the CFCC differs from other industry qualifications with its focus on “real-world compliance and financial crime challenges”.
Matthias Bahn, one of the graduates, highlighted how the CFCC sends a “clear and credible signal” to employers.
“The quality of the content, its delivery, and the continued support provided by AML Intelligence and the speakers set a new standard for AML/CFT education,” he said.
CFCC graduates
AML Intelligence’s CFCC is a new course which trains professionals in building and managing effective AFC (anti-financial crime) programs and AML (anti-money laundering) programs.
Many current compliance courses focus mainly on theory, with exams based on memorizing answers.
In contrast, the CFCC emphasizes practical, scenario-based skills – which are now more valued by regulators and employers.
Graduates and current learners also receive a free ticket to ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2026’. The conference is the AFC event of the year, which takes place on April 29 next in Dublin, Ireland.
Those interested can now enrol in the CFCC [HERE]. The first intake of students completed the course earlier this year.
In addition to Mr Bahn, one of the students on the initial course intake highlighted the “availability and approachability” of lecturers.
“The weekly follow-ups demonstrate genuine care for participants’ progress and a real openness to feedback. It is clear that the team actively listens to candidates’ opinions and continuously looks for ways to improve the learning experience,” they said.
“I also highly appreciate the quality of the video content and study materials. The topics are relevant, well-structured. And they are aligned with real-world compliance and financial crime challenges.
“The combination of live sessions, videos, and written materials provides a solid and comprehensive learning framework.”
The CFCC is fully online and recorded. Attendees can complete it in their own time. The course is delivered over six ‘blocks’. Each ‘block’ contains four on-demand chapters, taking approximately 20–30 minutes each.
