Senior Compliance Officer – Global Markets, Credit Suisse, Germany

Your field of responsibility

Join us as Senior Compliance Officer within the Compliance team in our Risk & Compliance Division located in Frankfurt. You give Compliance advice in particular to the International Wealth Management Business, Private Banking as well as Asset Management, in a demanding environment based on WpHG, KWG, KAGB, MaComp and MaRisk and the relevant EU directives / EU regulations. You implement and maintain Compliance Policies & Procedures for all relevant business activities of Credit Suisse units in Germany, conduct structured and ad-hoc reviews and develop and conduct Compliance trainings you for our employees. Also, you participate in international Compliance projects and cooperate closely within the international compliance function of Credit Suisse.

Your skills and experience

You’ll be a good match, if you have

  • University degree or equivalent education
  • At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services firms as a Compliance advisor
  • In-depth knowledge of the Private Banking and Asset Management business, including understanding governance requirements in connection with the provision of investment advice, cross border distribution of investment funds, requirements for fair, clear and non-misleading information and conflict management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of recent regulatory developments (MaRisk Compliance)
  • Strong communication skill to effectively communicate even complex, difficult or sensitive information appropriately in order to build consensus and to strengthen cooperation
  • Willingness to assume responsibility for own actions and results
  • Fluency in German and English is a must
