This job can be a great fit for you! The Zurich Life Insurance Company (ZLIC) is offering a permanent role as a financial reporting analyst within the actuarial capital management team.

This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in capital management and economic valuation techniques, and gain experience of regulatory reporting under the modern Swiss regulatory regime. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the actuarial capital management team in Switzerland. You will be a part of a team instrumental in assessing and projecting solvency and recommending the amount of dividends.

Your role

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Timely and accurate delivery of financial reports to management and regulator
  • ORSA and solvency reporting, related controls, documentation and process enhancements
  • Development, efficiency improvements and maintenance for related capital management models, processes and systems – in particular using MS Excel and other Office applications

Your Skills And Experience

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Strong analytical background (University degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Finance, Actuarial field or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience in bank or insurance company with focus on financial reporting or model development is needed
  • Happy working to deadlines and within a strong control environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Eager to learn and develop
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel an advantage
  • Enthusiastic team-player, comfortable working in a large multinational organisation
