With over $1.3 trillion of assets under management, Jersey is a world leading international financial centre and is looking for a leading professional to play a pivotal role in the Island’s contribution to the global fight against financial crime.
We are seeking a Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit to hold the lead role in exercising the FIUs statutory independence and autonomy in the discharge of its functions.
The Director will have responsibility for delivering the strategic goals of the FIU through the operational day to day work of the FIU. The Director will also work closely with the FIU Governance Board to set strategic direction for the FIU, provide performance reports based on agreed Key Performance Indicators and make key recommendations to enhance the FIU in discharging its functions.
The Director will play a key role on the international stage, representing Jersey internationally in relevant forms such as the Egmont Group and in continuing to build strategic long-term relationships with FIUs around the world. A key element of the role will include collaborative working with the private and public sector and continuing to build strong relationships with the private sector enhancing reporting processes and collaboration through a public private partnership.
