ABAC Manager – GSK

About the role:

Are you interested in a compliance leadership role that enhances your project management capability and allows you to shape ethics and compliance across GSK? If so, this ABAC Manager position could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

As an ABAC Manager, you will be responsible for managing all associated risks to GSK. You will also monitor and develop the organization’s internal processes, programs, systems and policies to ensure they follow government, corporate and company regulations and upholds a high standard of governance and ethics throughout the organization.

Your Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

  • Serve as ABAC SME for Third Party Risk Management including advising on design, ABAC due diligence requirements, controls and processes, and advising the business on CAPAs.
  • Lead and participate in external benchmarking activities.
  • Advisory support in managing ABAC queries from across all business units and functions.
  • Regularly review, update and communicate learning assets.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders as needed
  • Work on other ABAC CoE workstreams as needed including training and written standards

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • >4 years experience in pharmaceutical industry, legal or business consulting, with risk assessment, documentation and evaluation of internal controls.
  • Specialist / Professional qualifications in compliance or third party risk management.
  • Subject matter expertise in anti-bribery and corruption.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices across global, complex organisations.
  • Capability to plan and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously through individual and teamwork.
  • Capability to understand and assess processes and business activities and clearly communicate their risks.
  • Capability to write formal documents such as policies, procedures, learning assets and formal reports.
  • Capability in learning design, including writing business need analysis for learning solutions.
  • Excellent English language writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Law Degree
  • Management experience in ABAC risk management.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to form conclusions based on facts and data, leading others in complex discussions in order gain agreement and drive action.
  • Demonstrated ability in interacting with all staff including to top level management, preferably in multi-national matrix organizations
  • Demonstrated capability to learn at pace, delivering while learning and managing ambiguity during delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deal with multiple assignments.
  • Excellent skill in MS-Office applications.
