NEWS: Bunq rejected for US bank charter over ‘significant’ compliance concerns

DUTCH fintech Bunq said that the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has rejected its ​application for a national bank charter over ‘significant compliance concerns’.

The decision deals a ‌setback to the company’s plans to expand its banking operations into the United States.
