LATEST: UK watchdog probes auditors linked to collapsed lender MFS

THE UK accountancy regulator has opened investigations into a network of small accountancy firms that worked as auditors for collapsed mortgage lender MFS (Market Financial Solutions).

The FRC (Financial Reporting Council) launched the probes after MFS and several linked companies owned by founder Paresh Raja collapsed in February.
