DERVILLE Rowland, one of the newly-appointed AMLA Executive Board members, will deliver a Keynote speech at ‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025′ in London in October.
Ms Rowland was one of four top EU financial services leaders appointed to the Union’s new AML Authority earlier this year. It will be the first major speech by a member of the Authority in the United Kingdom.
Both the UK authorities and EU agencies hope to enjoy strong relations in the fight against financial crime and ensuring there are no gaps in FCC across banking, crypto and other financial services.
Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will also be participating at IAFCS2025 which takes place at the Leonardo Royal at Tower Bridge on October 22.
Some 500 high-ranking tech, finance and banking figures will attend the Summit. Early Bird registration is now open HERE.

IAFCS offers attendees the chance to hear from high-profile speakers and network with influential decision-makers in the field.

Ms Rowland is set to speak on the watchdog’s priorities and plans. The address will give key insights for European financial institutions, as AMLA will shortly assume responsibility for AML oversight across the EU.
Formerly deputy governor of Ireland’s Central Bank, Ms Rowland now holds one of the most prominent AML roles at any regulator in Europe.
AMLA’s five person Executive Board, plus the agency’s Chair, are responsible for setting the watchdog’s agenda – and more broadly, AML oversight across the EU.
A lawyer by training, Ms Rowland has worked at the Central Bank for two decades.
She was one of one of three deputy governors at the regulator, with responsibility for the areas of consumer and investor protection.
IAFCS 2025 details
IAFCS 2025 will feature a stellar line-up of speakers drawn from across the UK, EU, US and Middle East.
They will be a mix of high-ranking regulators, policymakers, industry leaders and law enforcement chiefs
The Summit will discuss the most topical issues facing key decision makers in Banking, Fintech, FSIs and Gaming.
