French authorities uncover more than 20 properties owned by sanctioned Russian oligarchs in ‘freeze and seize operations’

The French Government have located more than 20 properties owned by Russians facing EU sanctions on the Côte d’Azur, as they target the villas and superyachts of Russian oligarchs. 

Some of these properties include Château de la Croë in Cap in d’Antibes near Nice, which Roman Abramovich bought in 2004 and spent over €100M renovating.
