US committed ‘now more than ever’ to tackle global corruption; FinCEN Assistant Secretary says fight against corruption is a ‘core national security concern’

The United States is committed “now more than ever” to do its part to stop global corruption, according to Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes at FinCEN, Elizabeth Rosenberg. 

Speaking to the Union of Arab Banks Conference, Ms Rosenberg said the Biden Administration had “established the fight against corruption as a core national security concern” at the inaugural Summit for Democracy last December.
