Lithuanian fintech Paysera halts transfers to and from Russia amid Ukraine invasion; spokesperson says company wants to ‘encourage other financial institutions to follow suit’

A Lithuanian fintech has announced it has halted transfers to and from Russia, amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. 

Vilnius-based Paysera said they were making the decision “in solidarity with Ukraine” and to mitigate risks from the Russian market.
