THUNDER 21: Interpol operation results in arrests and asset seizures connected to environmental crime

Hundreds of people have been arrested and entire networks of traffickers shut down in the latest phase of a global operation against environmental crime.

Interpol announced that a month of law enforcement action took place in October, involving operators from 118 countries – the largest number to ever participate since the agency began its operation in 2017.
