MINING giant ENRC is seeking more than £125 million ($169 million) in compensation from the UK’s SFO (Serious Fraud Office) and its former lawyers over a criminal investigation that ended in 2023.

Lawyers acting for ENRC ((Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation), told a London court the company is seeking “fair compensation” for losses linked to the probe. He said the case would not have been opened “but for the bad-faith misconduct of the defendants”.
