LATEST: FinCEN preparing AML rules for stablecoin issuers

FINCEN is currently drawing up new AML (anti-money laundering) rules for stablecoin issuers, according to Andrew Gacki, the organization’s Director.

The rules will outline the AML obligations for stablecoin firms under the BSA (Bank Secrecy Act), which FinCEN enforces. FinCEN is the AML unit of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
