FIGHTING fraud and effective information sharing took centre stage at ‘Day Zero’ of the ‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2026’ (IAFCS 2026).
The invite-only event is currently underway in London the day before IAFCS2026, where hundreds of senior FCC leaders will gather on October 7.
‘Day Zero’ is designed as an informal, safe space for open discussion between FCC industry leaders, regulators and policymakers.
This year’s event features multiple panels of top #FCC experts discussing:
– Which areas financial crime supervisors are prioritising
– How ‘Digital Twins’ are revolutionising compliance
– Key AML trends in the UK and EU
‘Day Zero’ concluded this evening, paving the way for the main IAFCS 2026 session tomorrow.
The event was part of a series of meetings held by the ‘AML Intelligence Compliance Council’.
The Council is an exclusive global network organized by AML Intelligence. It brings together C-suite professionals and senior leaders in anti-financial crime (AFC) and financial crime compliance (FCC). The purpose is to share insights and drive change.
The ‘Day Zero’ event was held under the Chatham House rule. This is where speakers at a meeting cannot be identified. However, the information shared at the event can be used and reported.
The focus is on discussions which deliver more effective, efficient, informed and networked AFC delivery.
