NEWS: UK’s FCA targets financial crime risks at unregulated lenders

BRITAIN’S financial watchdog said it was stepping up scrutiny of unregulated lenders, leasing companies and money brokers because of concerns they could facilitate financial crime.

The Financial Conduct Authority said it was concerned about risks to consumers and markets posed by unregulated lending, which often uses complex structures.
