NEWS: Moncrief Bank, formerly Banque Havilland, fined after setting transaction monitoring threshold at €0 for high risk clients

MONACO’S financial regulator fined Moncrief Private Bank (Monaco), formerly Banque Havilland (Monaco), €1 million after finding serious weaknesses in its anti-money laundering controls.

The regulator also found that three breaches repeated failings for which the bank received a formal reprimand in 2021.
