NEWS: Commission proposes mandatory anti-fraud strategies for all EU countries

RUSSELS is seeking to make national anti-fraud strategies compulsory across the EU as part of a wider overhaul of how the bloc prevents and investigates fraud against its budget.

The European Commission has proposed requiring all Member States to adopt National Anti-Fraud Strategies (NAFS). It says stronger national frameworks will better protect EU funds from fraud and financial crime.
