AMLA, the EU’s AML watchdog, has delayed a move to standardise how FIUs report suspected criminal activity to the EPPO (European Public Prosecutor’s Office).

Previously, it planned to require all FIUs to submit ‘machine-readable’ reports to the EPPO from July 2027. This will now come into force on 10 July 2028 instead.
