NEWS: FCA to facilitate UK bank intelligence-sharing against ‘Frontier AI’ threats

THE UK’s FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) has pledged to facilitate banks to share intelligence in an effort to fight financial crime risks posed by ‘Frontier AI’.

Nikhil Rathi, the regulator’s CEO, said that it will be ‘pragmatic’ in allowing companies to do this. This is despite potential concerns around competition law compliance.
