NEWS: 68% of fraud cases start on Meta, says Lloyds Bank

MORE than two-thirds of fraud cases reported by Lloyds Bank customers began on Meta platforms, according to data published by the bank.

Lloyds said 68% of fraud reports from its customers originated on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. People in their late twenties and early thirties faced the highest risk, while under-25s were most vulnerable to ticket scams.
