THE ECB (European Central Bank) has summoned banks to a meeting tomorrow (Tuesday), urging lenders to strengthen cyber security systems after new AI models have exposed weaknesses.

The ECB will warn banks about risks linked to advanced AI models such as Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview. It will also urge US banks with access to the technology to share lessons with European rivals that cannot yet use it.
