NEWS: Banks warned of transactions linked to human trafficking during 2026 World Cup

FINCEN has warned financial institutions to increase monitoring for human trafficking risks linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup 2026.

In a new notice, FinCEN “urging increased vigilance” by banks and other financial firms near host cities during the tournament. The event is expected to attract millions of domestic and international visitors.
