LATEST: Sarah Paquet, head of Canada’s AML watchdog FINTRAC, steps down

SARAH Paquet is leaving FINTRAC, Canada’s anti-money-laundering agency, after completing her five-year term as director and chief executive.

FINTRAC said Stéphane Sirard, the agency’s deputy director of intelligence, will serve as interim director until authorities appoint a replacement.
