LATEST: Assets frozen due to UK sanctions soars to £37 billion

A total of £37 billion ($50 billion) in assets has been frozen in the UK due to sanctions, according to new research.

The figure for 2024-2025 is up sharply from £24.4 billion the previous year, according to the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).
