NEWS: HSBC and Standard Chartered accused of links to Iran financial crime activity

HSBC and Standard Chartered face allegations of connections to an Iran-linked money-laundering scheme, according to reports.

The two banks may have unknowingly processed transactions tied to Iran’s sanctions evasion efforts, involving millions of pounds, a court case alleges.
