LATEST: German real estate developer arrested over alleged ‘multi-million euro’ fraud

EUROPEAN prosecutors have arrested a German real estate developer and an alleged accomplice over suspected fraud worth millions of euros.

Around 400 investigators searched 49 properties across six countries this week as part of the probe. The operation, coordinated by EU body Eurojust, took place in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
