NEWS: MEPs say European Central Bank must be ‘free from political pressure’

EUROPEAN MEPs have said that central banks, including the ECB (European Central Bank), must be “free from political pressure”.

The European Parliament has adopted its annual review of the ECB’s policies and its recommendations for 2026.
