NEWS: Criminal activity makes up 5.5% of Sweden’s GDP

SWEDEN’S ‘criminal economy’ accounts for approximately 5.5% of the country’ GDP, according to a new report.

The report, published by the ESO (Expert Group for Public Finance) estimated that criminal activity generates 352 billion kronor ($39.4 billion) in annual turnover.
