LATEST: OCC probes debanking claims at multiple ‘large US banks’

THE OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency), a top U.S. finance watchdog, is investigating ‘debanking’ claims at several of the country’s biggest lenders.

Jonathan Gould, who leads the OCC, said the agency is “ending the weaponization of finance”.
