LATEST: US launches ‘Strike Force’ to target Southeast Asia scam centers

THE US Justice Department has set up a “Scam Center Strike Force” to crack down on industrial scam centers operating from Southeast Asia.

This new task force will investigate, disrupt, and prosecute major schemes. Officials estimate these scams defraud Americans of approximately $10 billion each year.
