INSIGHT: EBA warns many EU crypto users will have no MiCA protection until July 1, 2026

CRYPTO asset holders in some EU member states may have no MiCA protections until 1 July, 2026, the EBA (European Banking Authority) has warned.

The organization also said that consumers should “check [if] the provider of crypto-asset services is authorised in the EU” before investing.
