NEWS: AUSTRAC scales back case against Entain over AML breaches

AUSTRAC Australias financial crime watchdog, has narrowed its case against British bookmaker Entain, the owner of Ladbrokes, over alleged anti-money laundering (AML) failures.

AUSTRAC is in mediation with Entain. The watchdog has accused its board and executives of failing to check how high-value customers funded multi-million-dollar bets.
