NEWS: Law Society says proposed UK AML changes won’t ‘ease regulatory burden’

PROPOSED changes to the UK’s AML (anti-money laundering) system will not be effective in ‘ease the regulatory burden’ for solicitors, according to the Law Society.

Last month, the UK  government published its response to a 2024 consultation on Money Laundering Regulations.
