NEWS: SymphonyAI and ‘AML Intelligence’ launch world’s most comprehensive FCC survey, contribute to ‘FinCrime Frontier 2025’

By Paul O’Donoghue, Senior Correspondent

SYMPHONY AI and AML Intelligence today launched the world’s most comprehensive FCC survey, ‘Fincrime Frontier 2025.’

We are conducting the study to assess key trends and the state of readiness of obliged entities across the globe.

And we are inviting senior professionals working in financial institutions to take part in ‘Fincrime Frontier 2025’.

Those who complete the survey will be in with a chance to win three guest passes to International Anti-Financial Crime Summit (IAFCS) 2025, one of the most important events in the global AML calendar.

The survey is available HERE

Fincrime Frontier 2025 – Key Areas

The survey will cover several major topics, including:

  • The current state of AML programmes
  • AI applications in AML
  • Compliance cost structures
  • Regulatory readiness, including adaptation to AMLA
  • Efficiency in financial crime investigations

Jason Shane, Head of Innovation at SymphonyAI, said the financial crime and compliance space is undergoing “profound transformation.”

“From regulatory shifts to the growing role of AI, we know the challenges are complex,” he said. “No single institution can navigate them alone. That’s why it’s critical we come together as a community to share where we need to go next.

“The survey is more than a data-gathering exercise. It’s a collaborative effort to shape the future of fincrime compliance, together.”

James Treacy, MD at AML Intelligence said ‘Fincrime Frontier 2025’ will be a major assessment of the state of play of FCC departments worldwide. “It will show the readiness of obliged entities to embrace the major changes occurring across the industry from AI to sanctions and crypto.

“The survey will help inform decision-making for FCC leaders and also be a health check for the industry.

“Participants also have the opportunity to enter a draw to win three tickets for ‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025’ in London. The summit will be attended by some 500 high-ranking tech, finance and banking figures in London on October 22,”.

Respondents will also get a free copy of the survey’s findings, giving them early access to industry benchmarks and insights.
