NEWS: FCA expands rules on identifying firms after ‘name and shame’ controversy

THE UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will slightly expand the circumstances under which it publishes details of enforcement investigations.

The regulator has released an updated Enforcement Guide. However, the changes fall short of the previously proposed “name and shame” policy, which was abandoned earlier this year following industry and political backlash.
