NEWS: Fintechs ‘prioritize growth over compliance,’ European Parliament roundtable hears

ALMOST three-quarters of European AML (anti-money laundering) watchdogs consider fintech companies as ‘high risk’.

Carolin Gardner, the head of the AML unit at the EBA (European Banking Authority), said this is because companies in industry tend to prioritize ‘growth over compliance’.
