NEWS: EBA confirms it will transfer AML powers to AMLA on 31 December 2025

THE European Banking Authority (EBA) has confirmed it will transfer AML supervisory powers to the EU’s new AMLA watchdog on 31 December 2025.

In its 2024 annual report, the EBA said it has prepared to give its anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) mandates, to the new Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).
