NEWS: FCA ‘name and shame’ debacle lingers on as agency comes under fire in House of Lords

A COMMITTEE in the UK’s House of Lords has called on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to abandon its plan to disclose more investigations into companies unless it addresses industry concerns.

The proposal, which would see the FCA publicly name firms under investigation if deemed in the public interest, has drawn sharp criticism from businesses.
