LATEST: No fines for missing US beneficial ownership (BOI) March 21 cut off, deadline to be extended again

FINCEN, the AML unit of the U.S. Treasury, has said it will not fine or take any enforcement action against companies which fail to file beneficial ownership information (BOI) by the current March 21 deadline.

The organization also said the March 21 deadline will be extended. However, it did not indicate when the new deadline will be.
