ALMA must build hire qualified staff as quickly as possible to become an effective watchdog, senior finance officials and regulators have said.

Senior figures speaking at the most recent meeting of Eurofi said the regulator could possibly set up its own academy to train anti-financial crime staff and ensure it had a steady pipeline of new recruits.
