NEWS: Premier League clubs complicated structures could facilitate money laundering – study

THE complex ownership structures of Premier League clubs could enable money laundering and other financial crimes, according to new research.

A study by Manchester University criminologists analyzed the ownership frameworks of all the soccer clubs in last year’s league, revealing significant transparency issues.
