NEWS: BaFin chief warns banks of cyber attack dangers; use profits to build cyber resilience, Branson urges

CYBER attacks present one of the greatest risks to the financial sector, the head of Germany’s financial regulator BaFin warned today.

“These disturbances do not have to be at banks or insurers themselves. Sudden
problems with service providers hired by them can affect the whole system,” said BaFin president Mark Branson.
