NEWS: FinCEN grants extension for 2024-registered companies to submit BOI reports

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has announced an extension of the deadline for companies required to file their initial Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reports. 

The extension specifically applies to companies created or registered in the year 2024.

According to the updated guidelines, companies falling under this category will now have a grace period of 90 calendar days from the date of receiving official or public notice confirming the effectiveness of their creation or registration.
