EU home affairs chief warns of an increase in fentanyl use after Blinken’s warning to the US

EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson has warned that the EU should prepare for a surge in synthetic drug fentanyl.  

The announcement follows a warning from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, that a synthetic drug problem either already exists or will emerge soon in Europe.
