NEWS: Former Co-operative bank chair faces criminal charges

A former chair of the Co-operative Bank in the UK faces several criminal charges, including fraud by abuse of power, one of the few cases in which a senior banker was prosecuted. 

Paul Flowers will appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court on August 30. A spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the charge on Friday.
