NEWS: FATF issue warning over scams featuring its name, urges do not ‘be fooled’

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) are urging the public to be vigilant about the latest scam where individuals are using the agency’s name for fraudulent purposes.  

In a statement, FATF said people wishing to make international transfers of funds are allegedly asked by the FATF to pay fees for fictitious services, for example relating to verification of the origin of the funds.
