NEWS: Dutch central bank finds financial institutions are failing to freeze Russian assets

AMSTERDAM: The Dutch finance ministry is pushing to get new AML laws through parliament amidst concerns by privacy lobbyists

The Netherlands’ banks and other financial institutions have not performed well in freezing Russian assets, it’s been disclosed. 

De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the central bank of the Netherlands says just roughly one-third of Dutch financial firms locate and freeze their assets.
