NEWS: FinCrime provider AML RightSource appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

Leading provider of AFC solutions, AML RightSource has named Julie Smith as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President.  

The US-based company said the need for the expanded role is driven by “outpaced corporate growth” and added the “continued evolution of the company’s global services and technology-enabled compliance platform.” 

Julie Smith will be responsible for driving the company’s go-to-market strategy and educating a market facing exponential complexity and escalating compliance challenges about the company’s platform.  

President of AML RightSource, Tracy Mortenson revealed “With Julie’s vast go-to-market experience, she is uniquely positioned to help showcase how AML RightSource is partnering with customers across the globe to optimise their compliance programs.” 

Ms Smith said: “I am thrilled to be stepping into the position of Chief Marketing Officer where I look forward to advocating for the customer and helping all understand the true power and breadth of the AML RightSource platform.” 

In addition to her experience in financial services, Ms Smith is a compliance and marketing leader with more than 15 years of experience. Most recently, she worked for Thomson Reuters as vice president of go-to-market strategy.
