NEWS: OFSI orders crypto exchanges to report suspected sanctions breaches in new guidance

The UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation has said that cryptocurrency exchanges must now report suspected sanctions breaches to UK authorities. 

The decision comes amid new regulations which were implemented to alleviate concerns that Bitcoin and other crypto assets were being used to circumvent sanctions imposed on Russia, reports The Guardian.
